Privacy statement - Dhonden Foundation

Privacy, data, cookies and newsletter

Dhonden Foundation respects the privacy from donors, sponsors and others who are interested. We merely store the data from you which are needed to provide our services and prescribed by law. In practice, these data are bank transfers, contact- and billing information which we receive from you when making a donation, and which we are legally obliged to store. These data consist of your name, bank account, and if provided by you, e-mail, postal address, telephone number and purpose of the donation.

The website www.dhonen.nl does not contain (contact-) forms, and does not use tracking or static cookies. This means that no personal data are stored when you visit the site. However, a file is automatically kept which logs IP-addresses of all visitors. These IP-addresses are needed to measure numbers of visitors to the website and - more importantly - to enable us to trace and block hackers in case of a website hack.

Our newsletter is sent a maximum of twice per year and contains nformation on the progress of our projects, fundraising events, and requests for donations. We use our data file to send the newsletter, which usually just contains your name and email address. For some donors who do not use email, we use the mailing address as is provided by them. Al these data are stricly personal and are not shared with anyone else.

In case you wish to be removed from our data file, please contact info@dhonden.nl.
